Aptum has been ranked amongst the leading law firms in Australia for Dispute Resolution: Litigation in the 2023 edition of the Legal 500 Asia Pacific.

The Legal 500 is considered by many to be the world’s leading legal directory.  It publishes rankings annually which aim to provide an unbiased, research-based barometer of the legal industry for those buying legal services.

To be considered, firms are required to put forward a comprehensive submission including significant results over the past 12 months, key clients, firm innovations, and team member experience and expertise.

The rankings, announced last week, were released after a six-month period of independent review and research by The Legal 500.

The Legal 500 research process is based on “feedback from 300,000 clients worldwide, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading private practice lawyers, and a team of researchers who have unrivalled experience in the legal market.”

Some of the testimonials that surfaced about Aptum from the Legal 500’s research include, “care factor is a large part of Aptum’s performance” and “they have experience blended from the government, the court, the corporate sector and the Bar.  I doubt any tax disputes firm is quite the same.”

This is the first time Aptum has appeared in The Legal 500 rankings.  Aptum’s Managing Director, Nigel Evans, said, “It’s a fantastic credit to Aptum’s entire team and an acknowledgement that we’re on the path to our long-term goal of being Australia’s leading independent litigation practice.”
