This week, Aptum’s Managing Director Nigel Evans received recognition from two industry-leading platforms.

Nigel was listed in the 2023 Doyles Guide as a leading Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Lawyer and was named as a finalist in the 2023 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards for litigation Partner of the Year.

The Doyles Guide rankings are widely known to be the industry’s preeminent independent directory for showcasing Australia’s best law firms and lawyers.

Nigel said, “It’s a real pleasure to be included in this year’s Doyles Guide rankings.  I’m in the company of some outstanding practitioners in the Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution space.  Thank you to everyone – clients and peers – who will have contributed to my inclusion on this list.”

Nigel has previously been nominated as a finalist for Partner of the Year in 2021 – an award recognising legal partners in Australia who have exhibited excellence in leadership, outcomes and innovation, and play a pivotal role in advancing the industry.

“The annual Partner of the Year Awards is an essential celebration of senior legal talent in Australia,” said Lawyers Weekly editor Jerome Doraisamy, “recognising the exemplary contributions made by partners and partners-equivalent who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, exceptional legal expertise, and a commitment to excellence in the past 12 months.”

Over the past year, Nigel has overseen exceptional outcomes for Aptum’s clients, a growth in client base across Australia and internationally leading to a national expansion, significant investments in innovation, and continuing to develop the Aptum team’s commitment to a litigation approach that focuses only on the essential.

Congratulations to Nigel on the acknowledgement, and a big thank you to Aptum’s partners, clients and friends for your continued trust and support.
