Aptum Legal has been named amongst the Excellence Awardees for ‘Boutique Firm of the Year’ at the 2021 Australasian Law Awards. The award recognises Aptum’s excellence in client service and specialist expertise during the 2020 calendar year.
The Australasian Law Awards identify the region’s leaders in the legal profession “that have shaped the industry landscape over the preceding 12 months.”
Following the announcement of Excellence Awardees, selected firms are being reviewed by an independent panel of judges to determine Gold winners, to be announced through a series of breaking news stories between June 15-17.
Aptum’s nomination for ‘Boutique Firm of the Year’ follows an exciting year for the firm. In 2020, Aptum expanded exponentially in size. This included the acquisition of Mark Walter – former Slater & Gordon National Practice Group Leader (Commercial Litigation) – joining Aptum as Director.
Last year also saw Aptum’s geographic footprint expand to deal with matters in every Australian jurisdiction, except the ACT. Crucially, the specialty of the firm was further refined during this time to service only medium-large scale commercial matters, enabling highly focused expertise and effective outcomes for clients.
In receiving this Excellence Award, we acknowledge and appreciate the continued support of our staff and clients, and are thrilled to be recognised in the category of ‘Boutique Firm of the Year’. We also extend our congratulations to those boutique firms who were also recognised for their excellence.
