Aptum ranked again in world’s leading legal directory

For the second year running, Aptum has been ranked amongst the leading law firms in Australia for Dispute Resolution: Litigation in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific directory.

The Legal 500 is widely regarded as one of the chief resources for identifying and acknowledging top-performing law firms globally.  Published annually, the Legal 500 rankings aim to provide clients with an unbiased, research-based view of the legal industry.

Aptum’s inclusion follows a period in which the firm has conducted some of Australia’s most high-profile litigation and has been increasingly approached by international clients litigating complex matters in Australia, which led to a national expansion to Sydney and Brisbane. The rankings highlighted Nigel Evans being recommended for his ‘excellent insights’, and Tuan Van Le’s experience at the Federal Court of Australia bolstering Aptum’s ‘notable tax specialism’.

“We’re happy to be ranked once again this year in the Legal 500,” said Nigel Evans. “It’s been a fantastic year of growth for Aptum, both in terms of the team we’re building and the types of matters we’re taking on domestically and internationally, so this is great recognition for our growing foothold as a leader in the complex disputes space in Australia.”

The selection process for inclusion in the Legal 500 is rigorous, involving a comprehensive evaluation of significant results over the past 12 months, key clients and partners, and firm innovations that contribute to client success.

The Legal 500 rankings were released yesterday following a six-month period of independent review and research based on “feedback from 300,000 clients worldwide, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading private practice lawyers, and a team of researchers who have unrivalled experience in the legal market.”

Client quotes that surfaced through the Legal 500’s research described Aptum as “small enough to give the client personal service but good enough to match up to any of the major litigation outfits” and a firm that provides “no nonsense advice that cuts to the crux of the matter at hand.”

We are happy to once again be recognised amongst Australia’s leading litigation practices. A full list of the 2024 Legal 500 rankings for Dispute Resolution: Litigation in Australia can be viewed here
