Josh Baravelli

Having started his legal career at a large, traditional firm, Josh has diverse experience in commercial litigation.  Since joining Aptum, Josh has quickly become a leader by example for Aptum’s standards for professional excellence and process innovation.  Josh plays key roles in achieving significant outcomes for clients from a range of backgrounds, including small business owners, company directors, and property developers.

Josh is a lawyer that is never afraid to take the difficult route to achieve a better result.  Applying a deep rigour to understanding the big picture of a client’s dispute, Josh’s work consistently reflects the result of meticulous planning and project management.  Josh sees this process as imperative for helping clients achieve what they set out to do.

Alongside his hard-working nature, Josh realises the value of empathy in litigation.  Josh is often commended for his demonstration of genuine care and service to clients experiencing the stress of a personal commercial dispute.  Having also worked with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and the Aboriginal Legal Service, Josh’s approach to litigation is consistent with his purpose in law – to be able to help those in need.
